Hudson Printing Company was founded in 1918 by H.E. Hudson, a former newspaperman. The company was originated and is still located in Anderson Indiana. In 1946 his son, Harry E. Hudson Jr., joined the company after graduating from Purdue University and serving in WWII. They both saw the company through the letterpress era into the offset revolution in the mid 1960’s. In 1977, Harry’s son Jim Hudson joined the company as the third generation, after graduating from Purdue University with a management degree. The company flourished through the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. H.E. Hudson passed away in 1974, after serving the company for 56 years.
In 2002 Hudson Printing merged with Modern Graphics in Peru Indiana. Harry E. Hudson Jr. saw the company through the merger. He passed away in 2003 after 57 years of service. Jim Hudson remains with the company, serving currently as General Manager of the Reprocomm family (Modern Graphics, Lafayette Printing, and Hudson Printing). Jim’s daughter Kristi Hudson works with the company and serves as the Anderson Office Manager. In 2011 Lafayette Printing joined Reprocomm Inc. family and all three now provide printing and marketing needs regionally and nationally.
Hudson Printing Company provides full color offset, digital printing, and wide format capabilities as well as complete bindery services. Also available is a complete line of flexographic labels and tags for a variety of industries. Bulk mailing services were recently added to round out their capabilities. Customers include colleges and universities, health care, corporations and facilities, manufacturing and industrial plants, churches and church organizations, and other non-profit organizations.
